The new diet pill Capsiplex, that is already eagerly used by stars like Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears, is the new diet promise of 2010. The pill is made of Spanish peppers and is supposed to melt off the calories.
The taking of one Capsiplex pill is supposed to burn of the same amount of calories as would 80 minutes of walking or 25 minutes of jogging. This is claimed by researchers at the University of Oklahoma.
That Spanish peppers have the ability to increase the metabolism has been known for longer, but that has never been translated into an effective way of losing weight. The sting of the peppers irritate the digestion tract, so large amounts couldn’t be safely consumed. But by giving the pills a special protection layer this problem has now been resolved according to the producers of the pill.
There is no scientific proof yet that the pill actually works. Neither has anything been published about the health risks or other side effects of this pill. However the pills are being massively recommended by personal trainers in the USA and the pill is being launched this month in Great Britain.
