You can really make yourself more beautiful by eating the right things. With the right foods you can look more radiant. Here you can read what to eat and what not to eat for the best results.

Radiant skin

Products that are rich in an amino acid called glutamine keep your skin in optimal condition. Glutamine can be found in almonds, soy beans, cheese, peanuts and sun-dried tomatoes. Almonds also contain vitamin E and phytosterols that help to keep the cholesterol levels in your blood low and biotin that helps against hairloss.

Putting food on your face like avocado or cucumber is no use. They stay where you have put them, in other words on your skin. A better way of absorbing the beneficial substances is by eating them.

Shiny hair

A shiny head of hair (and skin) needs plenty of whole grains, especially oats which contain a lot of organic silicon. Oats also contain vitamin B and combined with the silicon they are also good for your brain. Also eat lots of walnuts which contain omega 3 fatty acids that make your hair and skin more shiny.

Also put red and yellow peppers on your menu. They are full of vitamin C that also prevents wrinkles.

Smoking and sun bathing are the worst things for the skin. Stop doing them if you don’t want to look 10 years older.

Thin waistline

Drink a lot of green tea and within six months you will have lost a few kilos. Green tea is not only good for losing some weight, it is also an antioxidant that delays aging and improves the condition of your skin.

Dieting is not a good option, because it only helps on the short term.

Good mood

Inositol is nature’s prozac. Inositol is a substance that elevates your mood. Inositol can be found in citrus fruits, like oranges, lemons and grapefruits. Citrus fruits are also rich in vitamin C, that protects the skin against aging influences. Drink some green tea with it, because it is also improves your mood. Also take a handful of para nuts. Part of the inositol in citrus fruit is located in the pulp of the fruit, so it is better to eat the fruit than to squeeze the juice from them and then drink that.

Eat soy, it has a lot of the amino acid proline that keeps the collagen in your skin in shape, which in turn gives elasticity to your skin. Soy is full of good nutrients for your body and mind.

Look for soy products that are grown in human and environmentally friendly ways and which are not genetically modified, like soy products from the biological shops.

Radiant eyes

Antioxidants like blueberries are not only good for your skin, but also good for your eyes. They are also found in eggplant and red grapes. It does not matter if they are frozen or fresh, as long as you eat your antioxidants.
