Visible fat makes you eat less

People who have had lunch with visible fatty products, eat a lot less at their next meal. Those who eat an exact same portion of non visible fat, does not eat any less during their next meal.

This is the result of a research at the University of Wageningen. The university researches healthy nourishment for the Dutch government that may help prevent obesity.

That visible fats help people to eat less is an important discovery for developing new products.

A visible fatty meal communicates through the senses that enough energy has been consumed. At the next meal hormones, among other things, will make you feel saturated quicker. How this works exactly still needs to be researched further.

Test subjects that consumed as much fat that they could not see with their eyes, ate up the 8 percent more the next meal. This way they eat too much each time and this way you can gain too much weight.
