Control stress through breathing

It is possible to control your stress level by breathing in a regular manner. This has a positive effect on heart and brain functions.

This is the results of a research by neuropsychologist Joland van den Haspel at the University of Groningen. Through her research she showed that the treatment of stress in mothers of children with attention and behavioral problems with breathing techniques was very effective.

Stress is not always bad. It delivers energy and means to stay balanced. But if balance is not reached, the stress process continues.
This is recognized by an imbalance in the body, emotions, thoughts and behavior. Reduction of stress can be introduced on these separate areas and have a positive effect on all of them.

The mothers of these children with attention and behavioral issues received 4 training sessions during this study.

This showed that if women train their breathing five times a day for two and a half minutes that is enough to reduce the stress levels.

The reduction of stress in the mother also had a positive effect on the children which had less temper tantrums in a day.
