Healthy food: Yale’s Overall Nutritional Quality Index

What is healthy and what is not? To get a clearer and easier overview, scientists at Yale University have developed an index with which consumers can quickly see how healthy or unhealthy a certain food is.

The Overall Nutritional Quality Index (ONQI) contains dozens of foods who got a rating between 1 and 100. Healthy products contain a lot of fiber, vitamins, iron, calcium, omega 3 fatty acids and carotene.
