In China and Japan green tea has been used for centuries, because it is a tasty and healthy drink. Here are six reasons to drink green tea:
Health
Green tea is healthy. This is because the tea leaves are not fermented like with black tea. In this manner all the the good, natural substances are optimally saved. There are quite a few beneficial substances in green tea, namely vitamin A, B, C, D and E and minerals like calcium, potassium, selenium, chromium and iron.
Natural boost
Contained within green tea is a high concentration of theine, the tea version of caffeine. Caffeine gives you a boost, but theine gives a different kind of boost. Theine is an amino acid that also has a calming effect. Even though green tea doesn’t stimulate as much as coffee, it is not recommended to drink a few cups of green tea just before bedtime.
Anti-wrinkles
Green tea is often put into anti-wrinkle cremes. This is done, because green tea is not just full of vitamins and minerals, but also full of anti-oxidants, which protects your cells against free radicals. Free radicals are electrically charged particles that damage your cells nuclei and excellerate the aging process. If you want to avoid getting wrinkles use anti-wrinkle cremes and drink 3 cups of green tea daily. Leave the tea leaves in the water for at least five minutes and do not add lemon or milk, because they reduce the effects of green tea.
Fat loss
Green tea contains the polyphenol EGCG, which is an anti-oxidant that slows down fat cells and reduces the absorption of fats. You taste it immediately when you drink green tea, because it tastes lightly acidic. If you don’t like that, add a little milk to the tea. Milk binds the polyphenols and reduces the effect of the substance. So only do this if you don’t want to loose some weight and wrinkles.
Good for teeth
The polyphenol EGCG doesn’t only effect fat, but this powerful anti-oxidant also helps to prevent tooth decay and helps to fight inflammation of the gums (gingivitis). Green tea also contains a lot of fluoride, a mineral that makes teeth and bones more sturdy. We only need small amounts of fluoride though and big amounts of fluoride in the body can cause numerous symptoms. That’s why it is recommend to drink no more than one pot of green tea per day (about three to four cups).
Good for blood circulation
Flavonols are not only found in tomatoes, grapefruits, cacao and red wine, but also in green thee. Favonols are anti-oxidants that lower blood pressure and reduce the chance of contracting cardiovascular disease.

Very helpful info dude. My cozen is living in Japan and he find this tea very helpful.
This article just confirms what chinese people knew way back then. I used to remember my old grandpa who is 80 now used to drink green tea by gallons… He’s healthy as bull just minor surgeries but that’s male related. Green tea has also been confirmed to block cancer. Sometimes it’s better than chemotherapy.
