No depression means less heart disease

Scientists are convinced that there is a strong relation between heart disease and depression. According to a report of the World Health Organization the number of deaths among elderly who suffer from depression is 4 times higher than among elderly without depression. Most of the depressed elderly in the report died from a heart attack or a stroke. Exercising 3 to 5 times a week will half your depression symptoms, says a study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
