Trans fats are bad for the prostate

Trans fats are bad for the prostateBad fats are not only bad for your blood vessels. In a thirteen year study done by Harvard scientists it was concluded that men with high levels of trans fat in their blood had twice as much risk for prostate cancer than men who had the lowest levels. The researchers surmise that the trans fats accelerate insulin resistance and inflammatory processes which play a role in the development of prostate cancer. Therefore eat less cookies, cakes and other products with hardened fats.
