Inhaling diesel fumes leads to a transformation in the brain in the way it processes information. This is possibly done by the nano particles that are present in diesel exhaust fumes. The leader of this research Paul Borm suggests that is plausible that a long term exposure, as in a city for example, can influence that normal brain functions and he pleads for additional research.
