Sun prevents lung cancer

In an investigation into lung cancer in 111 countries, researchers discovered that lung cancer is less prominent in countries that are closer to the equator. In the report, which is published in the British Medical Journal, the researchers say that the probable cause is the greater exposure to UVB rays. The greater amount of vitamin D that people have in their blood due to the exposure to the sun is said to work preventive against lung cancer (Calcium 600 & Vitamin D).
