Fish against cancer

Hmmm tasty! When you eat fish one time per week, you have 4% less risk of colon cancer. And every time more you eat fish per week, your risk goes down with another 4%. This is the result of a meta study done by the University of Wageningen in Holland. How exactly the fish protects you is not yet known, but the scientists speculate that it is possibly due to the omega 3 fatty acids or other protective nutrients like selenium, vitamin D and proteins. Also a reason could be that people who eat fish, eat less red meat in general. Red meat increases the risk of colon cancer.
