The tiny toner particles that most laser printers put into the air are as dangerous for your lungs as tobacco smoke. This is a result of an investigation done by a Australian University. 17 out of the 62 investigated printers put dangerous amounts of fine particles into the air. Possible consequences of exposure to these particles are respiratory problems, asthma, heart problems and cancer. Ventilate your printer space well!
