British researchers are concerned about the fact our food is getting more and more sweet. By adding big amounts of sugar to our food they are no longer as healthy as they were 30 years ago. Especially breakfast cereals, whole wheat bread and soups have been make a lot sweeter. In some cases the sugar contents has doubled. A good example is Kellog’s Special K that contained 9,6 grams of sugar per 100 grams in 1978 and 17 grams per 100 grams today.
