
According to a study that lasted more than seven years and in which 80.000 people participated, eating foods which are rich in alfa- and beta-caroteen, retinol and vitamin A reduce the risk of getting stomach cancer. People who had the highest intake of these nutrients haad 50% less risk of this disease than people who had a very low intake of the nutrients.
