Researchers in England have discovered that a small dosage of the hormone ‘pancreatic polypeptide’ can give you the feeling of being full. Volunteers ate 15 to 20% less because of the hormone. In a few years injections should be made available to the marketplace, but researchers hope they can invent a version that would introduce the hormone to the body through a piece of chewing gum.
