German research shows two pieces of dark chocolate help to lower bloodpressure without weightgain.
Earlier research already showed that consumption of cacao helped to lower bloodpressure, but scientists where concerned that the added sugar, fat and calories in chocolate would negate the positive effects of cacao. The medical science wasn’t familiar yet with the effects of pure chocolate untill now. This research was published in The Journal of the American Medical Association and conducted by Medical College of the University of Cologne in Germany.
